Death Metal, Prog Metal and Blackened Death Metal all on one Bill! Carnage will host its second event at its new location in newtown with three monster bands,two of them being Hate Disciple (QLD) and Altars (SA) having their Debut shows in Sydney and the other being Mass Burials Long awaited Launch of their album "Eternal war". Since their demo release in 2008 Altars have created a stir in the Australian Death Metal underground, receiving positive reviews and tightening their skills alongside Cannibal Corpse [USA], Portal [AUS], Ulcerate [NZ], Mournful Congregation [AUS], Dismember [SWE], Grave [SWE] amongst others. Removed from the muddy exterior present on their demo release, Altars’ contribution, “Nepenthe… Sepulcher” to the Tzun Tzu/ Altars Split, demonstrates the bands capabilities and promises a far more sinister and unrelenting entity to come as the band now focus on completing tracks for their debut full length TBA. The blackened death metal band from Sydney Australia musically combines elements of merciless vehemence with atmospheric mysticism; amalgamating a unique blend of death and black metal.
